I won't have time to blog later, so here's the report so far this morning. The annual Turkey Bowl was well under way on the fields outside my parents' house this morning:
It's been a tradition of whoever these people are since before I can remember. Even on the years when there was lots of snow on the ground. I think we may have brought them some hot chocolate once, or something... Anyway, it looks like fun. Dad was doing some commentary for a while this morning and I was vastly entertained.
Since I won't be able to post pictures of the actual bird etc. until tomorrow, here are some photos of this time last year:
It was a mighty fine bird. Happy Thanksgiving, All! I hope you eat lots of delicious food and spend quality time with loved ones.
