NaBloPoMo 2011!

It's that time of year again, the month we've all been waiting for - National Blog Posting Month, or NaBloPoMo for short. I know I'm excited!

I have been neglecting this blog lately so I am hoping this month of making myself post every day will re-energize me, get me back in to the spirit of blogging. Plus, now that it's getting to be dark when I get home, and it's dark when I go to work, I'll have a lot fewer fun things (biking, for example...) to distract me from it. So for this month, expect LOTS of photos of my new kitten, and various tales of exploring St. Paul, my new-ish city. Who knows, there might even still be biking if we can work it in there somewhere.

Today is Tuesday, which means I left the house at 7:15am and I will not be home again until 9:30 or so. Tuesdays are LONG, what with work and band rehearsal keeping me away all day. So today's post is going to be abbreviated. More to come tomorrow, I promise. For now, I leave you with a photo of the activies from last weekend, already posted elsewhere on the intertubes:

For those of you participating with me, here is blog with helpful daily writing prompts. And away we go!

I love NaBloPoMo (as a commenter) and your "Away we go" spirit. I look forward to pictures of Calvin.
You're too young to know that you're channeling Ed Sullivan with that "away we go" phrase. Or to know who Ed Sullivan is, probably.

RP - Give me a little more credit than that. I do at least know who Ed Sullivan is, even if I was not aware that "away we go" came from him.

Are we having fun yet?

RP is incorrect. "Away we go" was Jackie Gleason. Ed Sullivan was the "really big shew" guy.

RP seems to be suffering from some cognitive impairment. Explains the "retired" part, doesn't it?
